I thank Almighty, I'm only 3 weeks into my inguinal hernia.I noticed a small bump around my groin while showering, and booked a GP visit to investigate - which he confirmed as hernia, and recommended surgery.I however did not have any noticeable pain yet. So I went on a little voyage of discovery, reading all I could on hernias. Long and short it is,I came across many people who had healed successfully without surgery, and I am positive it is achievable. With a good support, regular Pilates to correct and strengthen your core/groin area. And some good old rest and de-stress in between. The support brace above, arrived in super time. Probably a week since I ordered, and I'm in South Africa.I ordered one size larger. I'm a 32 waist (M) so I ordered the (L) - which everyone recommended. Worked out well for me.It fits comfortable, and about the only time the pads feel not as flush with my body, is when sitting or bending. Other than that, it's very snug.I will continue to use it, with the Pilates, and some unwinding. Below are some links that I found very useful for me.http://www.groin-hernia.com/https://herniabible.wordpress.com/http://falconblanco.com/health/hernia.htm
