The cotton jersey is smooth, almost silky and very comfortable with no static cling either to me or my clothes. I am 5'5" and the length is also perfect for my height at the top of the knee dresses. I love this petti-slip. It's perfect under dresses to keep thighs from rubbing together and add a little slip coverage at the same time. It fit as expected (I followed the size chart) and the length was perfect. It's loose enough not to squeeze the thigh and does not ride up in the middle. I was prepared to accept this because the length promised no riding up for that dreaded chub-rub. All my assumptions were pleasantly proven wrong the first time I wore them. I washed them firs; they washed and line-dried perfectly. I slipped them on over my undies (I personally wear undies with pettipants) and put on a simple knee-length dress. The length worked perfectly although any showing of the lace would be acceptable. I never once had the legs roll (which sometimes happens with another nylon pettipants I own with a shorter inseam). I like these so much I'm going to purchase more.

These are so nice for wearing under a skirt in place of a normal slip. They are too loose to use as a pants liner slip, but just right for skirts. Comfortable for us thigh-endowed ladies. Very much recommend. I'll likely be ordering again. I've gotten other versions of this garment, but they were not stretch, or too snug when seated, or didn't wash well. I washed them firs; they washed and line-dried perfectly. I slipped them on over my undies (I personally wear undies with pettipants) and put on a simple knee-length dress. The length worked perfectly although any showing of the lace would be acceptable. I never once had the legs roll (which sometimes happens with another nylon pettipants I own with a shorter inseam). I like these so much I'm going to purchase more.
